Shukri Makhlouf, MD
Doctor Shukri George Makhlouf is trained in the Specialty of Internal Medicine Primary Care and is Board Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He proudly serves not only as an Internal Medicine Physician but also as a Family Practice and Primary Care Doctor.

He completed his Internal Medicine training at St. Mary’s Hospital – Affiliated hospital to Yale University School of Medicine. His internship and first year of residency were completed at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. Doctor Makhlouf is a member of the renowned American College of Physicians and American Academy of Family Practice Physicians. Hospital Affiliations are Gwinnet Medical Center in Duluth and Lawrenceville, Emory Johns Creek and Northside Forsyth in Cummings and Atlanta.
Betty Mincey, MD
Doctor Betty Anne Mincey is an Internal Medicine specialist and is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

She earned her medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, South Carolina. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine at the Mayo Graduate School of Medicine in Jacksonville, Florida.
Nicholas Dallas, MD
Dr. Nicholas Dallas is an internal medicine physician specializing in primary care. He is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

A native of Georgia, he completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Georgia receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in biology. He then received his Medical Doctorate degree at Mercer University School of Medicine in Macon, GA, and went on to complete his internal medicine residency at George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences in Washington, DC.
Amar Parikh, MD
Amar Parikh, MD received his medical degree from Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Georgia, and completed his residency training at University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville, Tennessee. He was awarded the Presidential Scholarship at Georgia State University and graduated summa cum laude. Dr. Parikh grew up in India, and moved to Gwinnett County with his family in 2002 where he attended Duluth High School. He is excited to return home and feels blessed to be able to serve Gwinnett, Fulton and Forsyth dynamic communities. He has passion for Internal Medicine and enjoys building lifelong relationships with patients as their health coach. Dr. Parikh and his wife enjoy traveling, photography, outdoors, different cuisines, and staying active with their two little children.

Alana Gardner, NP-C
Alana Gardner, NP-C received her Master of Science in Nursing from Malone University in 2009 and is Board Certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) as a Family Nurse Practitioner.

Prior to joining Sugarloaf Medical, P.C. in 2019, Alana practiced in the areas of Primary Care and Cardiac Electrophysiology.

She is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, United Advanced Practice Registered Nurses of Georgia and an invited member of Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society of Nursing.

Alana is originally from Ohio where she practiced as a Registered Nurse with a cardiology focus prior to pursuing her Master’s Degree. Alana resides in Gainesville, Georgia with her husband and two children.
